1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LoreForge Works, L.L.C. ("LoreForge Works", "we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the LoreForge Works application, the desktop client, and the website located at https://loreforge.works (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or subscribing to LoreForge Works, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

2. Grant of License & Access Tiers

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, LoreForge Works grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service in accordance with your account subscription tier:

• Free / Alpha Tier: Access to core player features and limited Game Master room hosting for evaluation and playtesting.
• Paid GM / Subscriber Tier: Advanced campaign management, multi-room hosting, persistent character templates, multi-VTT connector integrations, and custom dice themes.

Subscriptions are managed and billed via our authorized Merchant of Record (such as Lemon Squeezy). By subscribing, you agree to their payment terms, recurring billing terms, and refund policies.

3. Proprietary Software Rights & Restrictions

LoreForge Works (including all source code, compiled binaries, procedural 3D GLSL shaders, procedural acoustic synthesis algorithms, custom stat block and portfolio parsers, user interface designs, and documentation) is the exclusive intellectual property of LoreForge Works, L.L.C. and its licensors.

You agree that you will not:

• Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, decrypt, or attempt to derive the source code of the desktop application or client bundles.
• Extract, rip, reuse, or redistribute the proprietary 3D theme textures, procedural shaders, or audio files for use in third-party software or tools.
• Resell, lease, sublicense, distribute, or publicly host LoreForge Works or any derivative work.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices, watermarks, or trademark identifiers.

4. User Content & Campaign Data Sovereignty

Your Rules, Our Unbreakable Table. You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all original campaign notes, character profiles, homebrew stat blocks, encounter setups, and narrative materials you author and store within the Service.

LoreForge Works claims no ownership rights over your campaign data. You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive license necessary to store, transmit, and synchronize your data to players connected to your active session.

5. Imported Content & Third-Party Warranty

The Service provides import tools and parsers for third-party formats (such as Hero Lab Online JSON, Savaged.us, and standard stat block text). You represent and warrant that:

• You are legally authorized to possess, import, and use any rules text, character portfolios, or stat blocks you import into the Service.
• You will not use the Service to publicly distribute or republish copyrighted rulebooks, proprietary compendiums, or commercial text belonging to third-party publishers without written authorization.
• You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LoreForge Works, L.L.C. against any third-party claims arising from content you import, share, or broadcast.

6. DMCA Safe Harbor & Copyright Agent

LoreForge Works respects intellectual property rights and adheres to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe any material hosted on our platform infringes your copyright, submit a formal notice to our designated agent:

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL LOREFORGE WORKS, L.L.C. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR SESSION INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICE.
