“Dwarvenhearth isn’t a tomb to be wept over. It’s a house with the Hearth out. I intend to Light the fire.”

Overview

Dalithor “Dale” Jalar Kaled (affectionately known by his inner circle and a few wry surface humans as “D.J. Kaled”) is the informal leader of the Stonelost dwarven enclave nestled in the northern district of Midtown. A master craftsman by trade, Dalithor is a political exile from his ancestral clan gathering at Kaled Del. While his family and the clan elders view the legendary subterranean city of Dwarvenhearth as a defiled, tragic tomb never to be re-entered, Dalithor holds a fierce, radical belief: Dwarvenhearth can be redeemed.

Cast out by his father to prevent him from leading the dwarven youth on a “suicide mission” into the deep dungeons , Dalithor has instead built a thriving, progressive community of surface exiles. He refuses to return home until he can present his father with the keys to a cleansed ancestral city.

Profile

Ancestry: Stonelost Dwarf (Pathfinder 2e) * Background: Artisan / Prince (Exile) * Class/Role: Fighter / Master Mason * Location: Midtown Enclave (Northern cluster near the river bridge) * Factions: Stonelost Exiles (Leader) , Delver’s Guild (Secret Ally/Informant) * Primary Motivation: To gather the resources, historical relics, and frontline allies necessary to clear out the defilement of Dwarvenhearth, proving his family’s generational guilt wrong.

Personality & Appearance

Dalithor lacks the somber, traditionalist melancholy common among the older Stonelost generations. He is physically imposing—carrying the broad shoulders of a combat-trained fighter and the calloused hands of a master stone-carver. He is pragmatic, forward-thinking, and carries an air of natural, unpretentious nobility that draws other disenfranchised dwarves to his side. He speaks of ancient history not as a lost golden age, but as a future construction project.

Relationships & Faction Ties

🏢 The Midtown Enclave & Humans

Dalithor acts as the neighborhood organizer and protector for the dwarves living between Delver’s Square and the Temple District bridge. Under his guidance, the enclave has integrated beautifully with the local human population. He oversees the local cooperative economy driven by The Forge, the Stone Mason (Sholod), and the Weaver (Millfawn). While he pushes his long-term dream of reclamation, he takes bitter-sweet note that many of his people are starting to prefer their comfortable surface lives.

⛏️ The Delver’s Guild

While Kaled Del traditionalists view “Delvers” as grave-robbers who violate sacred ground, Dalithor is a secret ally to the Delver’s Guild. He hangs around Delver’s Square, quietly identifying promising adventuring parties. He occasionally acts as an informant or patron, funding expeditions into the deep subterranean vaults in search of specific historical relics or tactical intelligence regarding the dungeon’s layout.

🔨 The War Cleric & The Church of Trudd

The enclave used to find its spiritual anchor at a local church dedicated to Trudd the Mighty. However, a historical catastrophe involving reality-warping chaostech completely erased the physical structure and wiped the literal memory of the deity from the minds of his people.

Dalithor is highly invested in the actions of the party’s War Cleric of Trudd (Willie Gramm). As the player gradually restores the physical Shrine of Trudd and pieces together the community’s stolen memories, Dalithor experiences a profound awakening. He views the Cleric not just as a religious figure, but as the ultimate spiritual vanguard capable of leading his people back into the darkness of Dwarvenhearth.
