Campaign Overview: Tides of Sovereignty
Welcome to the Floenry Isles, a sprawling archipelago on the southern edge of Eraedal. To the rest of the world, these windswept, serpent-infested waters are a treacherous frontier of cutthroat pirates and untamed wild lands. To the great empires, they are a treasure trove of resources waiting to be bled dry.
You are a member of a highly specialized, elite team of covert operators. Nominally, your orders, funding, and targets come from the Timro Kingdom, the largest colonial power currently squeezing the islands for wealth. Officially, however, you do not exist. Your missions are deniable, your operations are unmapped, and your survival is entirely up to you.
As you step into this tropical powder keg, you will find a region fracturing under the weight of an escalating multi-front civil war.
The Three Pillars of the Isles
True to the world of Eraedal, your journey through the Floenry Isles seamlessly weaves three distinct legendary elements into a single cohesive experience:
-
The Geography (Palladium Fantasy): A beautiful but deadly oceanic landscape where treacherous coral reefs, dense jungle canopies, and hidden pirate coves conceal vast untapped riches.
-
The Ancient Lore (Praemal): Deep beneath the pristine blue waters and white sands of the archipelago rest submerged vaults, ancient magical anomalies, and the slumbering, reality-warping echoes of primordial forces.
-
The Mechanics & Faith (Pathfinder 2e Remaster): Your tactical capabilities, high-stakes combat encounters, and the active divine favors you invoke are fully driven by the balanced, dynamic Pathfinder 2e Remastered rules engine.
The Factions & The Civil War
The Floenry Isles are tearing themselves apart as three distinct colonial forces clash with an explosive indigenous uprising.
The Colonial Powers
-
The Timro Kingdom: The dominant colonial superpower in the region. Their footholds are the largest, their fortresses the most fortified, and their bureaucratic greed the most unrelenting. They are your employers—though whether they are your allies remains to be seen.
-
The Eastern Territories: Pushing aggressively into the islands with fresh fleets, eager to carve out territory from under Timro’s nose.
-
The Land of the South Winds: Holding smaller, specialized staging grounds, executing precise operations to secure rare arcane and natural resources.
The Rebellion: The Order of the Indomitable Shield
The heart of the local resistance beats loudest on the island paradise of Oen. Once a peaceful haven, it has become the staging ground for a massive, bloody liberation movement aimed at driving every last foreign colonist into the sea.
This rebellion is led by the Order of the Indomitable Shield, a militant coalition of holy and unholy champions representing various martial deities. While several gods boast champions within the order, the brutal, unyielding doctrine of Gorum (Our Lord in Iron) dominates the upper leadership.
The rebellion is commanded by a terrifyingly brilliant Orc warlord known as Drogon Deathbringer. Under his banner, the local populations have been forged into a fierce, fanatical army willing to burn the islands to the waterline if it means absolute freedom.
What to Expect in This Campaign
⚠️ A Note on Morality and Deceit
This is not a simple campaign of “heroes vs. villains.” As deniable operators for a colonial power, you will be forced to make agonizing moral decisions. Will you enforce the iron will of Timro to secure your coin and standing, even if it means crushing people fighting for their homes? More importantly, you must keep your eyes sharp and your weapons ready—the deadliest daggers are often twisted into your back by your own employers.
-
Elite Covert Operations: Expect high-stakes, tactical missions ranging from deep-jungle recondite tracking and precision assassinations to naval sabotage and political espionage.
-
Global Backgrounds: Your party has been gathered from the far corners of Eraedal. Whether you are a disgraced knight from Caer Itom, a runaway slave from the Western Empire, or an arcane scholar seeking forbidden secrets, your past will shape how you view the conflict.
-
High-Seas Exploration: Navigate the treacherous waters between the 14 major islands of the chain , dodging mutated sea serpents, dealing with local pirate lords, and discovering ancient ruins untouched for millennia.
The contract is signed, the drop-point is set, and the winds of war are howling across the southern seas. Welcome to the Floenry Isles, operators. Try to survive the tide.
